only in dreams
when people ask (and they do for some reason) i tell them im not lonely.
and during the waking hours thats true.
its only in dreams does it hit me what im missing.
i feel love in dreams. i feel feelings. i feel loved. i feel pure ecstasy.
then i wake up and realize its not real.
it must be the hole in my heart dreaming. it remains quiet during the day and waits for me to sleep before it weeps softly for what it does not have.
